My work explores the specific geography of airfields and flight, from the ground and from above, formally and informally. I am interested in constructed environments within the larger landscape of changing topographical settings, as well as the change in perspective and scale that flight offers. My access to the exterior space of airfields gives a view not often seen and offers a refreshingly quiet and contemplative view of these important earthworks. My research has continued to fuel a deep fascination with and love of the history of aviation.
